Installing

  1. Open the .dmg

Your browser downloads Remindr.dmg. Double-click it and a window opens with the app next to your Applications folder.

  2. Drag Remindr into Applications

Then eject the disk image. Running the app from inside the .dmg makes macOS re-ask for permissions every launch.

  3. Open it from Applications

The build is signed and notarised, so macOS opens it without the unidentified-developer warning.

What macOS will ask for

Remindr asks for two permissions the first time you start a capture. Both are asked by macOS itself, and you can revoke them at any time in System Settings › Privacy & Security.

MicrophoneTo hear your side of a meeting or a voice note. The audio stays on this Mac.
Screen recordingTo hear the other side of a call and to remember what was on screen. Screenshots stay on this Mac.

This is the beta channel

Remindr checks for updates on its own and installs them in the background, so you stay on the newest beta without downloading anything again.

Intel Mac or Windows?

Not yet. Remindr runs its models on the Apple Neural Engine, which an Intel Mac does not have. Write to us and we will tell you when that changes.
